ABOUT THE TRUST

iThemba Trust is a non-profit organisation founded to be the custodian of a global dream to bring community transformation and development to a small Eastern Cape town, Tarkastad. iThemba Trust was founded in 2008 by Kitty Phillips as the founder and Angela Price as the co-founder. The iThemba Trust breathes hope into lives through several projects, including providing an education of excellence through Orange Grove Schools, surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of a healthy country lifestyle.

The vision of iThemba Trust is to steward a community living space under an umbrella structure, where projects of hope, including children’s education, adult skills training, health and wellness, and community transformation could be championed.

The trust was founded in 2008 to be a custodian of the vision and to give it authenticity. The Trust is a non-profit organisation, registered in the USA as a 501(c)3 organisation. The purpose of the Trust is to be a guardian of the funds donated and sponsored and to administer these funds where needed.

HELPING REBUILD HOPE

“Being part of the transformation in many of our kids lives through the generous support of our partners, donors, sponsors and volunteers, is an incredible experience.

We would like to thank all our donors and sponsors who have helped make this dream a reality. Your generosity has helped restore hope to our children. Many of you may never know the depth of the impact, your generosity, love and kindness have made. To give a child a hope and a future is priceless.

So from a very grateful heart at iThemba Trust – Thank you!”
